Peter works closely with a small number of accountants and solicitors offering trusted financial advisory services to both corporate and private individuals. As a result, Peter is a lead director for a number of corporate pension schemes as well as providing the full range of financial advisory services to a portfolio of wealth management clients.
Tim is a fully qualified adviser and, in addition, he holds the G60 pension transfer qualification and the Investment Management Certificate; the qualification required for investment fund managers. Tim specialises in working with high net worth clients, business owners and accountancy partners. He lives in St Albans with his family and is a keen tennis player and golfer.
Roger is a fully qualified financial adviser and advises high net worth clients in the areas of individual and family financial planning. Roger also advises a number of Avidity’s business owners and corporate clients assisting with their financial planning and employee benefit offerings. Roger has been threatening to restart his rugby career for some time now but age seems to have got the better of him.
Rob joined Avidity in 2010 when we opened the new offices in St Albans. Rob specialises in pension and investments and really enjoys the technical intricacies that they bring. Rob runs his own client bank of high net worth individuals, where he manages their financial planning and provides advice on pension accumulation, retirement options, investments, estate planning and tax planning requirements.
Rob also heads up our Auto-Enrolment team, helping employers through the demands of the legislation to meet the requirements whist offering a competitive pension solution going forward.
Away from the office Rob will be found on the golf course (even in the rain) and during the summer months out on a cricket pitch, tantalising batsmen with his medium pace away swing.
James joined Avidity after graduating from Durham University with a degree in Natural Sciences and Economics. He has completed the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, which has enabled him to progress into an Advisory role. James now manages his own client bank specialising in investments, individual pensions, retirement planning, tax planning and protection policies. Out of the office James is a keen golfer and cricketer.
Oliver joined Avidity in September 2016 having graduated from Bournemouth University with a first-class honours in Finance and Economics. Oliver now supports the senior advisers, providing technical support on pensions and investments and building his professional relationships. Out of the office, Oliver is an avid cricketer and footballer.
Robert joined Avidity in 2016 and having completed the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning Robert has taken up an adviser role. Robert looks after a variety private and corporate clients, with particular focus on investments, pensions, tax planning and protection. Robert aims to provide each of his clients with easy to understand yet highly tailored and effective advice.
Away from the office, Robert will most likely be found on the golf course.
Eamonn has an extensive background in personal & corporate finance. He has advised individuals, start-up businesses and SMEs on their investment, protection and pension requirements. Initially working as a Senior Consultant for several of the UK’s leading insurance providers, Eamonn joined Avidity as an Adviser in 2009. He is a member of the Personal Finance Society and has achieved examination qualifications to Diploma level.
Adviser (DipPFS, ACA)
John joined Avidity Wealth Management in October 2014 after spending 12 years in the retail banking industry including 5 years as Chief Financial Officer of HSBC UK between 2008 and 2012. John is a Chartered Accountant, and holds both the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and the AF3 Pension Planning qualification which enables him to advise on all types of pension transfers and lifetime allowance planning issues. John also specialises in investments and tax planning. John lives locally in St Albans with his family, and enjoys a bit of sailing, golf, tennis, hiking and running.
Jane joined Avidity in 2010 (having worked as a corporate tax advisor with PwC). Jane is part of our “back office” team and enjoys supporting the ever growing team of advisors, paraplanners and administrators at our offices in St Albans. She looks after finance and accounting matters for the company together with HR and company secretarial.
Lesley has been a member of the Avidity team for 15 years. Responsibilities include the day to day management and running of the office, as well as paraplanning for Director, Peter Ambrose. Lesley’s daily work schedule is very varied, and she enjoys the challenge of getting involved with developmental projects.
Patrick joined Avidity in September 2017 having finished his A-Levels, achieving ABB. He supports the team as a Paraplanner and is studying for the CII Certificate in Paraplanning as part of the apprenticeship training programme. Patrick has practised TaeKwon-Do for over 10 years and has taken part in several tournaments and seminars.
Matthew joined Avidity in September 2018. He supports the team as a Paraplanner and is studying for the CII Certificate in Paraplanning as part of the apprenticeship training programme.
Will joined Avidity in January 2019. He supports the team as a Paraplanner and is studying for the CII Certificate in Paraplanning as part of the apprenticeship training programme. Will enjoys cycling to the office as well as testing out his golf swing at the driving range.
Lisa El Helou
Lisa joined Avidity Wealth Management, St Albans in June 2014 after working for IBM. Lisa’s time is split between the extended administration team along with supporting Paraplanning duties.
Deme joined Avidity in 2005 as PA / Admin to the Directors. She originally specifically provided administration support for Group pensions schemes, life policies and mortgages, but now provides support to all advisers covering all aspects of their business.
